Milk

The latest Hi Fructose is out, released at the opening for Bitters and Sweets at Gallery 1988 Tuesday night. Among the toys I photographed for the issue are recurring characters in the paintings of L.A. artist Bob Dob. All named Luey, they do the devil's dirty work and raise hell on their own time. Milk is booze to the Lueys. They get drunk and belligerent on the stuff.

The Lueys have been brought to vinyl-life by the fine-folks at STRANGEco. I'm very excited to once again be working with them and MTV Books on a new project. Available through pre-order at STRANGEco is a 2008 wall calendar of my work!

The exhibition at the Pasadena Museum of California Art is a huge success! Beyond Ultraman had over 3000 visitors in the first three days it was open. If you haven't had a chance to see it, make the trip! The show is up until January 6th. I'm currently missing the toys...um, props I lent to the exhibition to go along with my photos.
