Laughing Squid

When I was a kid, there was little that compared to an afternoon in the pool. It was playing with friends in the blue water that made an imagined world filled with undersea adventures all the more real. A few weeks ago I got to dive back into that world, complete with a friend.

The resulting photo taken for the web-hosting company and blog Laughing Squid is one I'm very happy about. It will be the back cover of the next Hi Fructose magazine, and it is also being turned into posters for the Laughing Squid: Decade 2 anniversary party in San Francisco next month.

Trivia: Next to the 303 on the conning tower is the name of the submarine. It is the Aloha Oi, named after the lovely Deanne Oi seen floating in the background.
