Free Range Furilla

Furillas are insanely cool, vacuum packed, one eyed, Yeti-like things created by industrial designer and artist Toren Orzeck. From bridging cultural gaps in Iraq to political gaps at the White House, these little suckers have a way of getting around and getting in trouble. There is even a company that deals in premium "Alliruf" meat from free range Furillas!!!

I had the pleasure of photographing a new pink Furilla at one of my all-time favorite places: White Sands, New Mexico. Hiking out into the dunes is like being on another planet. Aside from the occasional fighter jet above, there is only the sound of blowing sand to keep you company...unless you bring friends.

Very soon the inaugural issue of Hi Fructose hits stands with my Axtrx shot on a the cover and an interview inside.
