Roller Skate 4 Health

Even though UglyDolls have been around since 2001, I'm still nuts for them. The characters have a simplicity and purity born from their original intent: expressions of love. Fellow Parsons grads David Horvath and Sun-Min Kim were forced to be apart for a year. David sent dozens of "I miss you" letters, each with the first UglyDoll character WAGE at the bottom. For Xmas Sun-Min sent back a plush version of him. This was the birth of a toy line that has grown exponentially and brought the two back together.

Wedgehead seen above is at the famous Skateland in Memphis, Tennessee. The ice made for a very interesting photo as well as a fairly treacherous drive to the shoot.

As usual, there is a lot brewing with the studio. Biggest thing is that we just finished round one of a project with a very fun crew at McCann-Erickson. If you remember the Monkey vs. Robot e-card, it turns out that I didn't have to worry too much about looking impressive on the shoot. With a 4am call time, I think it was enough to have coffee on set. :)
