Munky Punch

If you find yourself in San Francisco on December 2nd, I hope you'll come to the opening of the Curious Creatures show at Punch Gallery. I'll be up there having fun and showing work with fellow artists Scatha G. Allison, Attaboy, Danielle Barnett, Bigfoot, Brin Berliner, Steve Berliner, Cir, Circus Punks, Damon Soule, Friends With You, Jeremy Fish, Mars-1, Mikas Mogo, Roy Miles, NoMe, Jermanine Rodgers, Romanowski, and Gonzo

The party starts at 8pm, and some unbelievable DJ's will be there spinning: L-Dawg, Coop Da'Ville, Romanowski, and Ten of Quad in Robo-gear with breakers. Come out and boogie down while looking at art from some cutting edge talent!

And if you've got some free time in Los Angeles, I highly recommend heading down to China Town and the art-toy gallery Munky King! Amazing toys, beautiful location, and while you're there you can check out some work I've got up in the gallery.

Ok, enough news. On to the photo...

It can be a challenge to find a seat Sunday morning at Swingers Diner in Hollywood, but it's a nice way to start the day. The monkey is there for two reasons. For one thing I just kinda thought it was fun, and a monkey wearing a fez pretty much fits in the vibe of the place. Secondly, I have a friend that gets violently upset by the notion of animals wearing hats, and I cannot resist messing with him over this. You'll back me up if he comes for blood, right?

Hope you enjoy and hope to see you in San Fran!
-Brian

P.S. As promised, I've got some order information for Vinyl Will Kill. The book will be available through a number of sources, but if you'd like to make sure that you get a copy, North Carolina's own Wootini is taking pre-orders. Their site is re-launching soon, so for now you can send them an email at sales@wootini.com.
